We believe that Harmony  is achieved from a deep understanding of form to function, mind and spirit.. The necessity of the interaction of all four... Harmony of form to function results in efficient and sound athletic movement.  Harmony of mind and spirit results in the generous and willing bonding of equine to human.  With over 30 years as professional horsemen putting our horses to the test in the highly competitive equine arenas of hunter, jumpers, polo, and dressage, we, at Ancient Oaks, understand harmony in its truest form.

Regardless of breed, or current fashion, Ancient Oaks Farm is committed to this ideal. Combining form, function, heart, and mind to bring to the recreational or professional equestrian the Ideal Sport Horse.  The horses, and our clients, deserve nothing less.

Utilizing the best examples in our breeding program from Hanoverian, Dutch, Arabian, Thoroughbred, Trakehner, Oldenburg....From Sport Horse to Sport Pony.. whether for dressage, hunters, jumping, combined training, driving, endurance, or just plain family trail riding... It is this commitment to quality that is most likely to produce exceptional individuals for all disciplines of equine sport.

We, the owners of Ancient Oaks Sport Horses, have a long history and a sterling reputation for producing outstanding equine athletes with outstanding souls.

Listed below is a glimpse of the recent successes of Ancient Oaks.

"JUST A LITTLE KISS"

2000 Half Arabian Mare - Carded USDF Dressage Pony

( ALSO - 2004 USDF KDA Champion Dressage Pony -2004 Spring Show)

AT 2005  USDF KENTUCKY DRESSAGE ASSOCIATION SPRING SHOW KISSIE ACCOMPLISHED THE AMAZING:

 *  CHAMPION DRESSAGE PONY KDA USDF SPRING CLASSIC BREED SHOW CHAMPION SPORT PONY

  • RESERVE CHAMPION MAIDEN/YELD OPEN MARES - WITH A SCORE OF 75.85

  • (This was an amazing feat,  as Kissie was up against ALL warmblood mares, not just ponies. She just missed Champion spot by a 1/2 point!!)

  •  RESERVE CHAMPION HIGH POINT ARABIAN KDA SPRING CLASSIC I

  And most incredibly, Kissie was...

BORN IN THE USA CHAMPION SPORT PONY... A COVETED TITLE FOR A PROGRAM NEW TO THIS SHOW, ONLY HELD BEFORE AT THE PRESTIGIOUS DEVON HORSE SHOW.

This is a program we continue to try and interest the Arabian Associations in, as we feel the Arabian and Half Arabian would be very, very competitive. It pays back great in winnings, has great entries but because it ONLY pays for those horses BRED in the U.S.A., many warmbloods are not eligible. It is our hope that more Arabian and Half-Arabian owners will be inspired by our Kissie's fine showing at this all breed show and join us next year!

A.O. BREEZE     2001 CHESTNUT PUREBRED STALLION

Breeze placed fourth in a large, quality class of 6. The class only consisted of one other Arabian, the beautiful Magic Domino.

Breeze scored so very well considering the quality of his competition, and the fact that his handler/owner was so lame as to have hampered his ability to move at all! We were proud of his manners and received great comments on his card and from the spectators as well.

AK and Deb are anxious to take three of their new babies to the May 7th  BAHA Spring Blast!

  • The first is A.O. Breeze's first foal, a half Arabian filly, Summer Breeze.  She is a lovely bay and white Dutch Warmblood Arabian cross who has already been shown as a four-month-old last summer with success in a USDF show in Tennessee.

  • The second is the stunning State of the Art daughter purchased through BAHA,  White Diamond.

  • The third is a gorgeous, almost pure white filly, Powdered Sugar, that is an interesting cross of paint, Percheron, and Thoroughbred.
